Talent Acquisition Specialist

New River Electrical Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent for our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with hiring managers to understand job requirements and qualifications.
  • Draft job descriptions and interview questions for hiring managers.
  • Manage recruiting firms and agencies.
  • Analyze data to maintain current understanding of market salaries and candidate availability.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
  • Post and manage open positions and source candidates through various channels.
  • Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and evaluate candidate qualifications.
  • Coordinate and conduct in-person interviews with candidates.
  • Verify candidate references and credentials.
  • Manage the offer process, including negotiating salary and benefits packages.
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office and experience with VISTA Software, MS Planner, and/or Smartsheet a plus.
