- Develop innovative research protocols when existing literature does not provide adequate guidance or when standard procedures require modification.
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams across various faculties or schools.
- Stay updated with current literature to apply new procedures and contribute to the development of new protocols.
- Play a significant role in drafting papers for publication, particularly in the results section, and present ongoing research at academic conferences.

- Supervise staff or students as necessary, providing guidance on techniques and project work.
- Serve as a technical resource for fellow research staff.
- Oversee daily laboratory operations, including maintenance, inventory management, and general lab support.
- Assist with the procurement of laboratory equipment as needed.
*- Additional duties may be assigned.
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of cell and molecular biology principles.
- 3-5 years of hands-on laboratory experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to achieving high-quality results.
Education & Experience (Required):

- Exceptional organizational skills and proven ability to complete detailed tasks accurately.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently required to stand, walk, twist, bend, stoop, squat, grasp lightly, use fine manipulation, and lift or carry objects weighing over 40 pounds.
- Occasionally required to sit, kneel, crawl, reach above shoulder level, and sort or file paperwork.
- Must have correctable vision to perform job duties effectively.
Working Conditions:
- May involve working in close proximity to bloodborne pathogens and in environments where animals are utilized for research and teaching.
- Position may require the use of personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, gloves, and protective clothing.
Work Standards:
- Demonstrates the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and external organizations.
- Shows commitment to safety and compliance with all applicable policies and procedures.
