Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Placement Specialist to join our team at Marsh & McLennan Agency. As a key member of our Placement team, you will be responsible for maintaining carrier contacts, resource allocation, and file management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date carrier contacts within our database.
  • Collaborate with Resource Pro/Placement liaison to ensure seamless communication and resource allocation.
  • Process and track BORs (Binding of Risk) and deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and review loss summaries to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Generate loss letters and pull work comp mods as required.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of rating platforms to provide accurate quotes and coverage.
  • Support prospect and renewal proposal efforts as needed.
  • Maintain agency management system with policy data to ensure efficient quoting and coverage.
  • Assist the VP-Placement or Placement Manager with projects and initiatives as required.
  • Participate in carrier visits and meetings to build strong relationships and ensure superior service to clients.
  • Support Placement team members with account filing and other administrative tasks.
Teamwork and Collaboration

As a Placement Specialist, you will be an integral part of our Agency team, working closely with other marketing personnel to develop market strategies and create strong working relationships with carriers and wholesalers.

Requirements
  • Property & Casualty License preferred.
  • Commercial Lines experience highly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and administrative skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of reliability and dependability.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and tasks.
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree highly preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
