Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Claims Adjuster Trainee to join our team at Progressive Insurance. As a Claims Adjuster Trainee, you will be responsible for resolving claims efficiently and effectively, while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine Coverage: Assess the extent of damage or loss and determine the coverage available to the policyholder.
  • Determine Liability: Investigate the circumstances surrounding the claim and determine who is at fault for the damages.
  • Interview Customers and Claimants: Conduct thorough interviews with customers, claimants, and witnesses to gather information and evidence.
  • Partner with Appraisers/Estimators: Collaborate with appraisers and estimators to manage vehicle repairs and ensure that the policyholder receives a fair settlement.
  • Negotiate with Customers and Other Insurance Carriers: Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers to resolve claims and ensure that the policyholder receives a fair settlement.
Requirements
  • Three Years of Relevant Work Experience or a Bachelor's degree or two years of relevant work experience and an associate degree.
Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Compensation
  • Once you complete training and pass any necessary testing requirements, your salary will be $51,000-$54,500/year.
  • Gainshare bonus up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance.
  • An additional 10% when you work evening or weekend hours.
