Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts field tests related to construction as directed by the CMT Manager and Senior Engineer.
  • Travels to various construction sites, primarily within designated regions, with the possibility of overnight and weekend assignments as required.
  • Communicates findings to project managers and engineers, exercising limited decision-making authority in the field.
  • Facilitates the transportation of equipment, test samples, and documentation to field personnel, laboratories, clients, or other offices, while assisting in the setup of equipment.
  • Records daily field observations and summary reports in an electronic format.
  • Executes quality control tests on in-situ concrete.
  • Performs density assessments on soil, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials.
  • Supports fellow technicians and professional staff with various tasks and collaborates with other departments as needed.
  • Adheres to Atlas' safety protocols, programs, policies, and procedures.
