Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Conference Services Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating exceptional conference experiences for our clients, through active communication, planning, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective conference strategies to meet client needs and exceed expectations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless event execution, including banquet operations and audio-visual services.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage conference budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve conference services and offerings.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in conference services, event planning, or a related field.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional conference experiences, with a focus on customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, including marketing plans, security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, and budget forecasting.
- Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
