Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at HITT Contracting, Inc. As a key member of our site operations team, you will be responsible for directing the workflow of construction projects on site, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, promoting a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Safety and Quality: Ensure compliance with HITT safety and quality standards, conducting regular site inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate project priorities and expectations to site staff, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers and site operations teams to develop and implement project schedules, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Subcontractor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, ensuring fair treatment and effective communication.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of project activities, site conditions, and punch lists, ensuring timely completion and owner/architect acceptance.
Requirements
  • Education: A four-year degree from an accredited university in construction, engineering, or business is preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
  • Skills: Mastery of building processes and best practices, ability to organize resources and meet tight deadlines, and proficiency in sector/project-specific software systems.
  • Certifications: OSHA 30 Certification is preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs.
