Job Summary:We're seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to oversee the workflow of our commercial construction projects. You'll provide leadership, ensure safety and quality standards are met, and communicate project priorities to site staff and subcontractors.
Responsibilities:- Administer the HITT safety program, ensuring all accidents/incidents are reported and investigated.
- Maintain HITT quality standards for all aspects of the project.
- Lead on-site safety, managing a safe jobsite for all involved.
- Maintain daily logs of activities and site conditions, managing the punch list and closeout process.
- Work with the project manager to formulate project schedules and ensure HITT quality standards are met.
- Maintain good working relationships with subcontractors, developing relationships within the community to enhance business opportunities.
- Ensure complete and accurate daily documentation of work orders/tickets.
- Develop and organize the site team, arranging for temporary facilities/utilities and identifying long lead items that need to be expedited.
- A four-year degree from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or business is preferred.
- 8-10 years' experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor.
- Mastery of building processes and best practices.
- Ability to organize necessary resources, including people, tools, and time to meet tight deadlines and achieve desired results.
- Project lead experience preferred.
- Ability to master sector/project-specific software systems, including Microsoft Office suite and ProCore.
- OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
