Job Title: Research Scientist Associate/KTC

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Scientist Associate to join our team at the Kentucky Transportation Center (KTC). As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for conducting literature reviews, leading data collection and analysis, and assisting senior research staff in developing innovative solutions to support KTC's mission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct literature reviews and summaries to inform research projects
  • Lead data collection and analysis efforts to support research projects
  • Assist senior research staff in developing innovative solutions and technologies to support KTC's mission
  • Prepare technical reports and grant proposals to secure funding for research projects
  • Present research results to government agencies, industry partners, and at professional conferences
Requirements:
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Works well in a team setting, but also thrives working independently
  • Pays close attention to detail
  • Employs strong analytical and organization skills
  • Robust interpersonal skills and customer service oriented
  • Is an innovative thinker and problem solver
