Job Summary:

The Kentucky Transportation Center (KTC) is seeking a highly skilled Engineer Associate III/KTC to join our team. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for conducting multidisciplinary transportation research and working on a broad range of topics. Our center performs research in several areas for local, state, and federal transportation agencies, including highway design, project management, pavement design and maintenance, infrastructure assessment and roadway forensic analysis, construction management, highway and infrastructure safety, structural engineering and preservation, intelligent transportation systems, economic, financial, and policy dimensions of transportation, traffic operations, and environmental analysis.

We are looking for a candidate with a broad understanding of transportation systems, who is open to learning about new subjects, and is excited about creating new knowledge that will influence how agencies manage critical infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field
  • 1 year of relevant experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
