Key Responsibilities:

As an Estimator, you will be tasked with reviewing architectural drawings to ascertain project scope and performing precise quantity and cost estimations based on the design phase. Your role will involve:

  • Conducting detailed analyses of drawings and specifications in collaboration with the Chief Estimator to formulate pricing.
  • Engaging directly with subcontractors, soliciting bids, and executing post-bid follow-ups to secure long-term pricing advantages.
  • Evaluating documentation to identify constructability challenges and opportunities for value engineering.

Qualifications:
  • Possession of a Certificate, Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of estimating experience with a background in construction management practices is preferred.
  • General understanding of construction costs and principles.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with estimating software is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
