We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Repairman 1 to join our team at the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing various semi-skilled tasks in the repair and maintenance of buildings, grounds, machinery, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform general carpentry, repair, and installation of items to maintain buildings and facilities
- Conduct plumbing, masonry work, and operate a variety of equipment and machinery
- Ensure the safety of outdoor grounds by clearing snow and ice from sidewalks and maintaining grass using lawn care equipment
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Two years of experience in general maintenance work involving at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Ability to perform essential job functions
