This organization represents a coalition of over 140 natural gas and electric utilities, alongside energy efficiency entities, dedicated to enhancing the adoption of energy-saving products, services, and practices. They are seeking a knowledgeable Senior Program Manager to oversee the operations of one or more initiatives aimed at transforming markets for energy-efficient solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensuring comprehensive design, planning, resource allocation, and execution of designated market transformation initiatives.
- Overseeing daily program functions, including stakeholder engagement, internal and external reporting, development of Initiative Life Cycle documentation, and management of contractor and program budgets.
- Establishing and nurturing vital market relationships.
- Delivering measurable business outcomes.
- Influencing and navigating complex challenges within program teams.
- Formulating and ensuring timely execution of program strategies aligned with milestones.
- Identifying, escalating, and resolving issues arising from development activities.
- Balancing the diverse needs of stakeholders and industry partners, including utilities, manufacturers, and supply chain associates, to achieve long-term program objectives and market advancements.
- Maintaining a performance scorecard for each program, ensuring market progress metrics and goals are established, monitored, and reported.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in managing complex programs within cross-functional team settings.
- BA/BS Degree in engineering, economics, or business; an MBA or related qualification is advantageous.
- An equivalent combination of education, experience, and training will also be considered.
- Proven experience in managing programs that encompass multiple projects.
- Experience in integrated building energy systems or related projects is required, such as commercial HVAC, motor-driven systems, fans, and drives.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills.
- Ability to prioritize competing demands from various internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in managing contracts and contractors to meet project goals.
- Experience in leading remote project teams.
SCHEDULE:
Hybrid work arrangement with a flexible environment, offering 9/80 schedule options. All employees must be available from 9 AM to 3 PM, Monday to Friday (unless Friday is scheduled off).
COMPENSATION:
Salary range: $100,000 - $120,000 exempt.
