About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team at Amazon Web Services, Inc. - A97. As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies to drive revenue growth and adoption of AWS services among startups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to drive revenue growth and adoption of AWS services among startups.
  • Build and maintain relationships with startup executives and developers to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and effective execution of go-to-market strategies.
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations and demos to showcase AWS services and solutions to startup executives and developers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities for AWS growth and innovation.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of relevant GTM, sales, or consulting experience.
  • 5+ years of technology domain experience in High Performance Computing, AI/ML, Math, Quantum Information Systems and Technologies, or similar accelerated computing technologies.
  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Startup background and experience at a VC or PE-backed firm in a Product, BD, or Sales Executive capacity.
  • Established track record of building rapport with startup executives and closing strategic deals.
  • Familiarity with opensource software used by startups and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
  • Strong database storytelling skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with startup executives and developers.
  • Recognized industry expertise in primary discipline(s) with proven public speaking prowess.
  • Cloud expertise as demonstrated by one or more cloud certifications.
  • An Advanced degree highly preferred, especially an MBA or MS in CS or Engineering.
