Job Summary

The Quarantine and Isolation Assistant Manager will play a vital role in supporting the Residence Life Office in maintaining a safe and inclusive living-learning community. This position will assist in the daily operation and organization of the quarantine and isolation area, coordinate incoming information from various sources, and provide support to students during the check-in process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily operation and organization of the quarantine and isolation area
  • Coordinate incoming information from University Health Services, Contact Tracing, and other relevant sources
  • Initiate contact with students to transition them into quarantine or isolation space
  • Manage digital communication and serve as a resource for students during the check-in process
  • Manage the placement of students into quarantine or isolation space
  • Provide indirect supervision and/or training to quarantine and isolation coordinators
  • Assist in promoting the safety and security of residents
  • Assist in developing and maintaining effective working relationships with various departments

Requirements

This is a limited-term staff appointment funded for up to six months from date of hire. Typically requires a Master's Degree or higher plus one year of related experience.
