Restaurant Operations Manager

At Shaner Hotel Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Carnegie House in State College, PA. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of our restaurant operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of restaurant staff to ensure exceptional customer service and high-quality food and beverage offerings.
- Develop and implement effective operational strategies to drive sales growth, improve efficiency, and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Manage inventory, labor costs, and other operational expenses to ensure profitability and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to design and implement menus that meet the needs of our guests and drive revenue growth.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including food safety and sanitation standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and optimal pricing.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform business decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in the restaurant or food and beverage industry.
- Proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams and driving business growth.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Knowledge of food and beverage cost controls, inventory management, and labor scheduling.
- Ability to prepare budgets and financial reports, and analyze data to inform business decisions.
