We are seeking a highly skilled Line Cook to join our team at Hair of the Dog Eatery. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food in a timely and efficient manner. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook menu items to order, using standardized recipes and techniques.
- Set up and maintain station areas, including refrigerators, coolers, and dry storage areas.
- Communicate effectively with fellow staff members to ensure quality products and timely service.
- Understand and comply with food safety, temperature, and sanitary standards.
- Rotate perishable products properly and maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Former culinary schooling or at least two years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Food Handlers certification preferred, but not required.
- Able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eager to work in fast-paced environments and multitask effectively.
