Job Summary

The Children's Home of Kingston is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Compliance Officer to oversee the agency's compliance with federal and state regulations. As the compliance leader, the CCO will be responsible for establishing standards and implementing procedures to ensure that the agency is in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on compliance matters.
  • Investigate and resolve compliance issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with senior management and the Board to ensure that compliance is integrated into the agency's overall strategy.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes to regulatory requirements and ensure that the agency is in compliance.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as law, business, or public administration.
  • At least 5 years of experience in compliance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations, including those related to child welfare and human services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a non-profit or government agency.
  • Knowledge of compliance software and systems.
  • Certification in compliance or a related field.
