Job Summary:

The AR Follow Up Specialist is responsible for the efficient use of various internal Revenue Cycle systems and performs tasks for claims processing, registration, and billing edits, claim edits, and payer rejections. This role involves following up on unpaid claims to collect money due, researching, appealing, and resolving denials and payment variances with the goal of challenging and overturning denials and maximizing collections. Key responsibilities include maintaining patient financial records, efficiently documenting account notes, and achieving established key performance indicator goals for Revenue Cycle. The ideal candidate will be flexible, able to multitask, and perform a variety of duties as requested by Management. Job Requirements:

Entry-level knowledge; basic employment skills. Degree or HS Diploma not required. 1-3 years of medical billing experience. Durable medical equipment billing and/or infusion billing experience a plus. Key Words:
