The Learning Center for the Deaf is looking for an experienced Deaf Services Administrative Assistant to support various HR functions. If you're passionate about creating an inclusive environment and have excellent organizational skills, we encourage you to apply

About the Role

  • This position involves providing administrative support for HR tasks, including application and onboarding processes, scheduling interviews, reference checks, employee orientation and training, creation of new employee files, and maintenance and compliance of employee files.
  • You'll also manage and maintain the HR calendar, prepare agendas, and coordinate and schedule meetings as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist employees with key distribution, following the required process and procedures.
  • Update and maintain employee information in HRIS, currently Paylocity. Generate reports, track data, and perform analysis as required.
  • Record and prepare detailed meeting minutes, including confidential meetings, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution.
  • Create PowerPoint presentations to support HR communications, projects, and trainings.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of administrative experience preferred.
