Deaf Services Advocate

**Overview of the Role**
We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team at Advocates. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting individuals with mental health and/or substance use challenges.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively as part of a team to supervise daily activities, provide ongoing support and guidance, and help residents achieve their goals.

Responsibilities
- Develop Comprehensive Assessments (CAs) and reviews outlining rehabilitative goals and interventions
- Participate in the development of Individualized Action Plans (IAPs) and attend treatment meetings
- Document daily progress in Client-Based Functional Assessment Notes (CBFS)
- Perform interventions addressing client goals and result in skill development
- Provide linkage with other program staff and service providers
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1 year related experience
- Fluency in ASL
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to use good judgment
- Computer skills
- Valid driver's license and access to an operational vehicle
