Key Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Lines Support Specialist, you will assist in the acquisition, management, and retention of clients by efficiently handling all transactions related to client accounts.
Assist with the management of commercial accounts, which includes handling workflow, billing, rating, follow-ups with carriers for policies, endorsements, requests, certificates of insurance, summaries of insurance, binders, and renewal orders.
Adhere to all established systems, procedures, and guidelines set forth by the Commercial Lines Department and the Agency, as well as any future implementations.
Achieve all individual quantitative and qualitative targets set by the Commercial Lines Department Manager and/or Agency Management.
Engage with Customer Service Representatives, Producers, and the Commercial Lines Manager for clarification or resolution of issues concerning Commercial Lines clients.
Provide support for Senior and other Commercial Lines Technical Assistants, Senior Claims Specialists, and Administrative Assistants/Receptionists as necessary.
Possess a solid understanding of commercial lines workflows and procedures.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of one (1) year of experience in an insurance agency or company.
State Property & Casualty License is required or must be obtained within six months of employment.
Proficient in MS Office Suite; familiarity with TAM "The Agency Manager" is a definite advantage.
