Position Overview

ROLE SUMMARY

  • Lead a substantial clinical sales team across a designated region, managing 8-13 direct reports.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive onboarding and training programs for team members.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance during customer engagements in the field.
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Directors to align on strategic initiatives.
  • Formulate and execute sales strategies to meet established objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise a team of 8-13 direct reports.
  • Educate and mentor team members on product applications and strategies for revenue enhancement.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to foster communication and collaboration.
  • Engage directly with team members in their respective territories, offering constructive feedback.
  • Organize market development initiatives and participate in industry exhibitions.
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics in relation to sales goals.
  • Assist in the introduction of new products and engage in quality assurance activities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or medical field; Master's Degree is advantageous.
  • Experience: Minimum of 9 years in the industry, with at least 5 years in a comparable role at Haemonetics.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and project management abilities are essential.
  • Travel Requirements: Regular travel expected, approximately 50-75%.

INTERVIEW PROCESS

  • Initial phone screening with the hiring manager or virtual meeting.
  • In-person interview focusing on competency-based questions.
  • Follow-up in-person interview requiring a presentation of a 30/60/90 day plan for the region.
  • Final interview with the Vice President of Sales.
