Position Overview

ROLE SUMMARY

  • Supervise a substantial clinical sales team across a designated region, managing 8-13 direct reports.
  • Develop and implement onboarding and training programs for team members.
  • Guide the team in customer engagement activities in the field.
  • Collaborate with Regional Sales Directors to align on strategic initiatives.
  • Formulate and execute sales strategies to meet targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee a team of 8-13 direct reports.
  • Educate and coach team members on product application and revenue enhancement.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to foster communication.
  • Engage directly with team members in their respective territories, providing constructive feedback.
  • Organize market development initiatives and participate in industry exhibitions.
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics against sales goals.
  • Assist in the introduction of new products and engage in quality assurance activities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific or medical field; Master’s Degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 9 years in the industry, with at least 5 years in a similar role at Haemonetics.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management abilities are essential.
  • Travel Requirements: Frequent travel expected, approximately 50-75%.

INTERVIEW PROCESS

  • Initial phone or video screening with the hiring manager.
  • In-person interview focusing on competency-based questions.
  • Follow-up in-person interview presenting a 30/60/90 day plan for the region.
  • Final interview with the Vice President of Sales.
