The Manufacturing Operations Leader is tasked with overseeing the comprehensive aspects of our production and logistics activities, prioritizing the enhancement of efficiency, quality, and overall productivity. This role encompasses the management of human resources functions, safety protocols, quality assurance, leadership development, and facility operations to foster a positive and effective workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain a safe working environment.
- Formulate and execute strategies aimed at refining manufacturing processes and optimizing warehouse distribution.
- Track production metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to pinpoint areas for enhancement and drive operational performance.
- Develop scheduling aligned with business requirements to ensure optimal operational flow.
- Lead and supervise a team of production leads and workers, ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer service, engineering, supply chain, production control, logistics, and quality assurance, to meet production objectives.
- Manage HR-related functions such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training to cultivate a high-performing and engaged workforce.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations and standards, including health and safety, environmental, and labor laws.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, reduce costs, and boost productivity.
- Focus on team development through individual development plans and mentoring.
- Perform additional duties as required by business needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field preferred, or a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing operations.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the capability to motivate, coach, and develop teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across all organizational levels.
