Job Summary:

The Financial Operations Manager is a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with US GAAP and KM SOPs. This position combines a strong focus on core accounting practices with an emphasis on leveraging analytics to drive informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze balance sheets and income statements for month-end close and financial reporting, complete multi-entity intercompany transactions, and employ analytical techniques to extract actionable insights.
  • Utilize NetSuite to record and reconcile daily cash transactions, leveraging analytical skills to identify patterns and trends.
  • Manage documentation for leases, employing analytical tools to update Lease Accounting software efficiently.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for CAPEX projects and major equipment repairs, analyzing data for budgeting and forecasting purposes.
  • Oversee quarterly physical inventory counts, applying analytical techniques to record and adjust inventory as necessary.
  • Monitor general accounting activities, ensure compliance with governmental and organizational policies and deadlines, and collaborate closely with external CPA firm.
  • Generate accurate, reliable, and timely reports for internal stakeholders, utilizing analytics to present key metrics and insights to senior management.
  • Provide financial analysis and consulting support to management, enabling them to understand their financial results and make informed decisions.
  • Evaluate and optimize accounting processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related discipline, with 5-7 years of accounting experience
  • Demonstrate a strong grasp of US GAAP principles.
  • Experience with multi-entity/intercompany transactions.
  • Highly organized, analytical, disciplined, and driven by deadlines, consistently meeting targets and delivering high-quality work.
  • Proficient in Excel, utilizing advanced functions and analytical tools to analyze financial data effectively.
  • Skilled at assessing complex situations, providing efficient resolutions, and leveraging analytical thinking.
  • Effective multitasker in a fast-paced environment, capable of prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

Preferred:

  • CPA designation and experience in Public Accounting are advantageous, highlighting a deeper understanding of core accounting practices.
  • Manufacturing or similar industry experience.
  • Experience with NetSuite, LeaseCrunch, and AvidXchange is a plus, as it showcases proficiency in leveraging accounting software to streamline processes and enhance analytics capabilities.
