About the Role

The Regional Senior Process Engineer is responsible for overseeing and supporting plant discussions and investigations to improve throughput, efficiency, quality, and environmental performance. This involves analyzing data, conducting field measurements, and performing process-related audits to diagnose issues and develop solutions. The successful candidate will support the plant in achieving greater performance and contribute to the company's overall success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Health and Safety initiatives in accordance with regional and plant priorities.
  • Coordinate and participate in the improvement of the Plant's technical capabilities.
  • Initiate process optimization in collaboration with Quality, Production, and Maintenance to ensure maximum and efficient utilization of the plant's equipment.
  • Elevate the technical knowledge and practices of all facets of the operation.
  • Analyze equipment/system performance, document findings, and propose solutions for improvements.
  • Develop standard operating procedures and targets, and train and coach operation personnel to apply them consistently.
  • Provide technical support to the plant's production, quality, and environmental functions.
  • Promote the increased use of Alternative Fuels and Raw Materials, and provide comprehensive technical expertise to evaluate their impact on the process.
  • Implement new equipment and/or new procedures, and train plant personnel as required.
  • Conduct economic and operational feasibility studies on proposed modifications and/or additions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation Engineering, or a similar discipline.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of cement plant experience.
  • Strong computer expertise in SAP, TIS, HLC, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% nationally.
