Reliability Superintendent

The Reliability Superintendent plays a pivotal role in driving the reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, and safety systems at Ash Grove Cement, a CRH company. This position is responsible for leading efforts to improve the reliability, availability, and maintainability of equipment and systems, thereby optimizing production efficiency and minimizing downtime.

• Reliability Program Management: Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) programs, analyze equipment failure data, and develop preventive maintenance strategies to ensure the reliability goals are achieved.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the Reliability Engineer, maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to develop and optimize preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Leadership and Mentoring: Lead the activities of the Reliability team, conduct risk assessments and reliability studies, and mentor and coach staff to support their personal development.
• Project Management: Manage and support Special Projects (CAPEX, Major Maintenance, etc.), provide budget input to the Maintenance Manager, and assist in developing and documenting the CAPEX plan.
• Technical Expertise: Conduct root cause analysis, implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues, and provide technical training for equipment reliability, plant maintenance, and operations.

• Education: Minimum 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience with plant reliability programs.
• Skills: Ability to read, write, and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.
