Elderwood at North Creek is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support, recruitment, onboarding, training, payroll, and benefits administration.
Key Responsibilities- Recruitment: Source, interview, and onboard candidates through our Applicant Tracking System, ensuring timely and accurate submission of weekly open positions reports.
- Onboarding and Training: Orient and complete new hire paperwork, ensure employment regulatory requirements are met, and schedule new hires for General Orientation and HR training.
- Administrative: Obtain regulatory documentation, maintain staff member personnel records, initiate probationary and annual performance evaluations, and administer 30-day new hire surveys and exit interviews.
- Payroll and Benefit Administration: Distribute information on benefits packages, monitor pending enrollments, and provide follow-up to verify completion. Accurately enter employee information and maintain ongoing maintenance in ADP HRIS.
- Unemployment and Workers Compensation: Ensure timely response to claims, verify termination data, and represent the company in UI and WC hearings when necessary.
- Employee Relations: Triage employee concerns, ensure consistent application of policy and procedures, and maintain disciplinary logs.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Administration or Business degree preferred; PHR Certification preferred.
- Training or experience in human resources processes required.
- Strong organizational, time management, and computer skills necessary.
- Valid State Driver's License and clean driving record required.
- Ability to handle personnel situations with tact and in compliance with state and federal laws required.
This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
