About the Role:

The Medical Receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless and efficient patient experience. As the primary point of contact for non-clinical patient services, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing patient flow, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and families with a warm and welcoming demeanor
  • Manage patient scheduling, check-in, and check-out processes
  • Verify patient information and update records as necessary
  • Process payments and manage patient accounts
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control standards
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical front office setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and practice management software
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
