About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Regional Director of Operations to join our team at Allure Lifestyle Communities. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing a regional portfolio of active adult, independent living, and multifamily assets. Your primary focus will be on resident engagement, sales and marketing, ensuring low tenant turnover, high occupancy, and stable operating costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a regional portfolio of properties with a focus on resident engagement, sales and marketing, and operational efficiency.
- Direct and oversee all aspects of property operations, sales and marketing, and food and beverage services.
- Develop and implement operating systems, procedures, and processes to drive best practices and improve operational efficiency.
- Oversee sales and marketing efforts at each property and help facilitate outreach marketing, branding, and sales initiatives.
- Hire, train, and manage Property Managers and other on-site personnel.
- Inspect assigned properties to identify deficiencies and implement corrective actions within budget guidelines and established property standards.
- Implement and oversee budgets and business plans with property operations staff.
- Active involvement in oversight of community renovations programs, including adherence to scope, schedule, and quality requirements.
- Oversee tenant support processes and establish methods to enhance tenant satisfaction.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree highly preferred with a minimum of 7+ years of senior living/multifamily real estate, hospitality operations/property management experience.
- Independent or Assisted Living experience highly desired.
- Strong, positive, motivational leadership skills required, with a focus on building and maintaining multiple strong on-site teams.
- Ability to drive best practices, procedures, and day-one implementation based on prior experience.
- Strong project management skills, with a 'hands-on' approach.
- Demonstrated conflict resolution skills.
- Strong sense of urgency in completing all tasks while maintaining high quality standards.
- Ability to understand the financial aspects of running a portfolio, with experience in revenue management programs highly preferred.
- Active approach to management.
- Experience in sales and marketing strongly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal/communication skills, with the ability to develop and ask questions, negotiate acceptable terms with third parties, and make presentations to senior management, investment committees, or clients, when necessary.
- Strong work ethic.
