Job Summary

As a Technology Support Specialist at Windsor Locks Public Schools, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of hardware and software on our district network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to district staff and students
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain network devices and systems
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to improve network performance and security
  • Collaborate with IT team to ensure seamless integration of new technologies
Requirements
  • A+ Certification
  • At least two years of training and experience in technology
  • Experience with Windows 10/11, Mac OS X, Chromebooks, and iPads
  • Strong computer, organizational, written, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Knowledge in computer and Chromebook repair
  • Experience with network printing
  • Ability to learn and utilize new software as systems are upgraded
  • Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate excellent public relations
  • Multi-task oriented
