Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Ledgent Technology. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, verifying, and refining sensing technologies related to user interface devices and network interface electrical design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor junior engineers in all aspects of their daily work
  • Identify learning opportunities for less experienced engineers
  • Review work products of junior engineers as required
  • Develop circuit, component, subsystem, and equipment interfaces and procurement specifications
  • Perform resolution of anomalies identified during production manufacturing and test
  • Design digital, analog circuits, components, and subsystems
  • Prepare designs specifications, analyses, and recommendations
  • Support the interfaces with customers, contractors, and marketing vendors
  • Evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services
  • Conduct in-house design reviews and technical meetings
  • Prepare design proposal to reflect cost, schedule, and technical approaches
  • Monitor project status and progress
  • Manage personal schedule for electrical engineering tasks
  • Keep abreast of improvements in electronic engineering techniques
  • Maintain existing electrical network infrastructure
  • Support production area with regards to production toolsets, networks, and processes

Requirements:

  • Expertise in designing, verifying, and refining sensing technologies related to user interface devices and network interface electrical design
  • Experience with Microprocessor and Microcontroller based low noise analog and digital circuit design and PCB layout techniques for EMI and requirements
  • Knowledge of power reduction techniques for battery powered circuits
  • Experience designing systems running on Linux and Android operating systems
  • Creativity in problem solving and innovation in solutions developed
  • Teamwork and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
