Mathnasium is seeking an Assistant Center Manager to assist in the management of center operations, engage with students and their families, and lead a team of instructors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Center Manager/Director in ensuring the center operates smoothly, including managing the enrollment process.
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate outstanding leadership, business acumen, and organizational skills to effectively run a learning center through sales, instructional guidance, parent engagement, staff supervision, and administrative tasks. With comprehensive training, the Assistant Center Manager will be prepared to assume Center Manager responsibilities and potentially advance to Center Director.

  • Manage consultative sales activities, including timely responses to inquiries and successful student enrollments.
  • Deliver a polished and persuasive sales presentation to parents that leads to student enrollment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by fostering relationships with families and communicating student progress.
  • Oversee the learning environment and daily session activities for students.
  • Support the management of a team of instructors to ensure instruction aligns with Mathnasium's educational philosophy.

Qualifications:
  • A passion for mathematics, a commitment to working with students, and a desire to positively influence their educational journeys.
  • A strong focus on customer service, with a proven track record of achieving results.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, capable of meeting deadlines, multitasking, and managing time effectively.
  • A willingness to learn and receive training.
  • The ability to foster teamwork while balancing educational and sales responsibilities.
  • Strong mathematical proficiency, at least through Algebra I.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Solid math skills, at least through Algebra I/Geometry.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in customer service and consultative sales within a similar environment.
  • Experience in teaching or tutoring, particularly in an administrative role.
  • Strong mathematical knowledge at the high school level and familiarity with the educational system.

All candidates must provide proof of work authorization, pass a background check, and complete math literacy assessments.
