Job Title: HR Business Partner Manager

HITT Contracting is seeking a seasoned HR Business Partner Manager to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and support to our business leaders and team members across our 14 office locations nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a team of HR business partners to ensure alignment between business operations and HR strategy, practices, and objectives.
  • Act as an advisor and strategic resource to the HR team, senior leadership, and managers on employee relations issues, including performance management, career development, retention tactics, team building, conflict resolution, and employee feedback sessions.
  • Supervise thorough and objective investigations as needed, assess risk, and determine appropriate courses of action, working closely with the HR leadership and legal team as appropriate.
  • Guide, train, and direct managers and team members on federal and state legal compliance and leave policies, including FMLA, ADA, EEOC, and other relevant laws.
  • Analyze data for trends and provide ad hoc reports to support departmental goals and business initiatives, such as terminations, compensation, hires, diversity, and more.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of various enterprise-facing HR policies, projects, and initiatives.
  • Upkeep status changes and documentation related to the employee life cycle, including offer letters, internal transfers, and offboarding.
  • Identify, create, and promote practices that foster a diverse and inclusive workforce, with a focus on organization-wide awareness and benefits.
  • Partner closely with our Recruiting team to attract and hire top talent across all markets and with our Team Member Engagement team to engage and retain talent.
  • Support broader HR projects and goals as needed, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Travel on an as-needed basis to HITT's various office or jobsite locations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of five years of HR Business Partner experience.
  • Experience managing a team of decentralized HR professionals.
  • Strong business acumen, excellent employee relations and conflict resolution skills, and a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to exercise discretion in handling confidential information and to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Self-starter with a track record of producing results in a fast-paced environment and a willingness to integrate into a family-oriented, entrepreneurial, and highly demanding work environment.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and experience building relationships internally and externally.
