Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architectural Construction Administrator to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with design standards and building codes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Review and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure compliance with design standards and building codes.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, budgets, and change orders.
  • Ensure that all construction activities adhere to established safety standards and regulations.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates on architectural construction progress, issues, and solutions.
  • Conduct post-construction evaluations to assess the quality of work and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a closely related field, or extensive time in a Construction Administration role.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in architectural construction administration, with a focus on multi-family residential projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Proficient in using architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well-informed decisions under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A proactive approach to work, with the ability to anticipate potential issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Professional registration as an Architect or Construction Manager is preferred.
