Job Summary

The Sales Representative - Chain Accounts role is responsible for actively growing, servicing, and developing relationships with all assigned chain accounts. As a brand ambassador for Stone Distributing Co., you will be responsible for increasing visibility and driving sales growth through prospecting and selling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the brand ambassador for Stone Distributing Co. and build strong relationships with account decision makers to achieve shared sales goals and ensure opportunities are being capitalized on through prospecting and selling.
  • Be the liaison between accounts and Stone Distributing Co.'s transportation team to ensure effective delivery and maintenance of out-of-code standards.
  • Effectively merchandise and monitor cold stock, ads, backstock, and displays to ensure proper representation and maintenance.
  • Identify trends to accurately order and maintain adequate inventory for all accounts.
  • Consistently scan accounts for opportunities to grow points of distribution, address opportunities, and drive execution.
  • Partner with the Area Sales Manager to develop short-term and long-term goals for each account.
  • Maintain self-education on all Stone Distributing Co. distributed brands and the craft beer industry.
  • Educate buyers on new releases, schematic adds, and pending resets.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of related sales experience required.
  • Effective communication with proven ability to interact effectively with management and sales representatives.
  • Excellent organization and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively present information.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Must have reliable transportation and maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record, valid CA driver's license required.
  • Travel Requirements: Regular travel required to Stone Distributing Co. accounts, spending at least 50% of their time in the field.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual Salary Range: $48,500-$50,500.
