We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Assistant - Care Partner to join our team at Wellstar North Fulton Hospital. As a Care Partner, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities- Provide basic patient care functions, including hygiene, nutrition, elimination, and physical comfort measures.
- Assist with daily living activities and comfort measures.
- Perform advanced skills, such as phlebotomy, simple treatments, dressing changes, oral suctioning, and discontinuing Foley catheters, as required.
- Transport unit supplies, patient care supplies, medications, and equipment as assigned.
- Document patient care in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Communicate patient care concerns, problems, or emergencies to the RN or Charge Nurse in a timely manner.
- Participate in hourly patient rounding and environment of care rounds.
- Follow appropriate PPE/Infection control policies and maintain a safe environment for patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; graduation from a State-approved program for Certified Nursing Assistants or Patient Care Tech Program preferred.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to document patient care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
