Position Summary
The Branch Operations Supervisor collaborates closely with the Branch Manager to oversee and manage the daily functions of the designated Home Care branch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the onboarding team to ensure efficient processing of qualified candidates within a 14-day timeframe.
  • Manage candidate statuses, ensuring those in the hiring process for over 30 days are made inactive.
  • Provide developmental feedback to the onboarding team, promoting growth through tailored projects and increased responsibilities.
  • Establish and maintain processes and tools that facilitate effective selection and onboarding of Healthcare Workers and new team members.
  • Oversee the filing department, ensuring daily completion of filing tasks and compliance with document database standards.
  • Ensure adherence to federal and local laws for Quality Assurance and auditing in collaboration with the compliance department.
  • Monitor open unemployment claims, ensuring timely responses to information requests from coordinators.
  • Review Axis Care notes to confirm that employees are being offered work opportunities.
  • Report on open claims and their statuses to the Program Manager on a monthly basis.
  • Foster an open-door culture in partnership with the Program Manager and Office Supervisor, valuing team member input and development.
  • Lead performance management initiatives and assist with internal training to enhance company culture and employee skill sets.
  • Collaborate with leadership to understand business needs and drive HR initiatives aligned with long-term objectives.
  • Oversee Quality Assurance initiatives related to Site Coordinator Placement and Assignment Plans.
  • Enhance brand visibility with partner sites through increased presence and offsite events.
  • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs for staff and Healthcare Workers.
  • Anticipate and prepare for potential challenges or setbacks.
  • Handle employment verification requests, coordinating with payroll for necessary information.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Minimum of 1 year in a management or supervisory role.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in recruitment or account management, preferably within the healthcare staffing sector.
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to adapt to new systems.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is advantageous.

Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or 4 years of relevant experience preferred; or any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform essential job functions.

  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, and travel as required.
  • Effective phone presentation and problem-solving skills, along with negotiation and customer service expertise.
  • Ability to collaborate across all aspects of the sales cycle to achieve objectives.
