Job Overview

LiveNjoy Residential is a vibrant and growing real estate management firm looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Area Supervisor. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to resident satisfaction and possess extensive experience in the residential property sector. As an Area Supervisor, you will oversee the daily functions of several residential properties, ensuring effective communication with staff, prospective hires, tenants, and maintenance teams, while managing budgets and maintaining high property standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leasing Management: Oversee leasing operations across various locations, ensuring effective follow-up on leads and timely approval of applications.
  2. Lease Management: Supervise lease renewals and ensure efficient collaboration with office staff for prompt responses.
  3. Resident Relations: Manage resident satisfaction and feedback, ensuring swift resolution of maintenance requests to enhance tenant retention.
  4. Financial Oversight: Review daily collections with property management teams and make informed decisions regarding payment arrangements.
  5. Maintenance Coordination: Supervise the execution of work orders and ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues.
  6. Unit Preparation: Oversee the preparation of units for new residents and ensure timely move-ins.
  7. Move-Out Management: Manage move-out reconciliations and provide residents with accurate final statements.
  8. Strategic Planning: Utilize strategic planning to meet monthly financial goals and audit rent rolls for accuracy.
  9. Team Leadership: Handle HR paperwork for new hires and provide guidance to property managers and staff.
  10. Communication and Inspections: Maintain effective communication with various stakeholders and conduct regular property inspections.
  11. Emergency Management: Support on-site emergency responses and coordinate with necessary services.
  12. Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth property operations.
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required; a college degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in a Community Manager role within a multifamily property environment, with experience managing multiple sites preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient in leasing, property management, and maintenance coordination, with strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Attributes: Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, exceptional organizational skills, and professionalism.
  • Certifications: CAM or CAPS qualifications are preferred, along with familiarity with property management software.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel between properties and work outside standard hours as needed.
