The ideal candidate will possess a meticulous approach, practical expertise, and a diverse skill set in various maintenance and renovation tasks. This role requires the ability to work independently while adhering to all health and safety regulations. The primary objective is to ensure that units, grounds, and communal areas are kept in optimal condition.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate buildings and repair mechanical systems to comply with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain electrical systems, including replacing light bulbs and sockets, and cleaning and repairing circuit breaker panels.
- Assist in the installation and repair of ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems as needed.
- Ensure heating and plumbing systems are operational and well-maintained.
- Inspect alarm systems (fire and security) and coordinate repairs as necessary.
- Carry out manual repairs when required, such as fixing locks and replacing windows.
- Conduct pest control activities, including the application of insecticides.
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including landscaping, painting, carpentry, and pool upkeep.
- Fulfill on-call duties as directed by the property manager.
- Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywall repair, and painting.
- Understanding of general maintenance processes and techniques.
- Familiarity with tools, common appliances, and devices.
- Strong manual dexterity and problem-solving abilities.
- Good physical fitness and strength.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Compensation: $19 per hour
Note: Salary is influenced by factors such as experience, qualifications, skill set, and internal equity.
