At Jefferson Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Associate II to enhance the patient experience by providing exceptional customer service and efficiently processing arrival and departure activities. This role is critical in supporting the delivery of the Jefferson Experience by ensuring prompt and courteous treatment of all patients and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Process arrival and departure activities, including check-in and check-out, point of service activities, and scheduling of patient appointments via EPIC.
- Obtain pre-certifications and/or pre-authorizations for procedures, verify insurance, referrals, and patient demographic information.
- Maintain an efficient flow of practice and escalate patient and/or provider concerns as appropriate.
- Greet and interact with patients/visitors in a professional manner, on phone or in person.
- Adhere to HIPAA privacy and security requirements and ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory standards.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Customer service and/or patient-facing healthcare experience preferred.
