Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to join our team at Louisiana Bistreaux. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 3 to 60 employees during your shift, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Oversee all back of house operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and sanitation procedures.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and promotions.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
  • Conduct regular inventory and ordering of supplies to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience leading a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Positive attitude and strong motivational skills to drive team performance and engagement.
  • Flexibility in scheduling to meet the demands of a dynamic restaurant environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members, management, and customers.
