Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant General Manager to join our team at Advance Auto Parts. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring the success of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of sales associates to achieve sales and customer service goals
  • Review and analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase profitability
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers
  • Manage store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase customer engagement
  • Collaborate with other store managers and district managers to achieve company goals and objectives
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to ensure the store remains competitive
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in a retail management role, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Proven track record of success in leading a team and driving sales growth
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, employees, and vendors
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
  • ASE certification or equivalent experience
  • Experience with inventory management and merchandising
  • Knowledge of automotive systems and parts
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
