Position Overview:

Marsh Furniture Company is in search of a proficient Cabinet Craftsman to join our dedicated custom department. The successful candidate will be tasked with the precise construction of wooden kitchen and bathroom cabinets tailored to client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret shop floor schematics and fabricate the required components for assembly.
  • Construct cabinets of exceptional quality, adhering closely to provided designs with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of various wood types, laminates, and veneers.
  • Utilize woodworking machinery including band saws, routers, drills, jig saws, and boring tools effectively.
  • Demonstrate the ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time effectively.
  • Skillfully read and utilize a tape measure.
  • Maintain compliance with all mandatory safety training certifications.
  • Exhibit physical capability to lift, twist, turn, bend, and reach as necessary.
  • Work independently with minimal oversight, follow instructions accurately, and meet production timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in cabinet building (preferred).
  • At least 2 years of experience in woodworking (preferred).
