About the Role

Pennymac, a leading specialty financial services firm, is seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team. As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will play a critical role in assisting existing customers from our Servicing Portfolio with their current and future mortgage needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle high volumes of inbound and outbound calls to assist existing and new customers.
  • Identify customer needs and provide guidance on product solutions.
  • Advise and educate customers on home-buying and refinance processes.
  • Recommend loan solutions to improve customers' overall financial position.
  • Assist applicants through the loan application process, including reviewing disclosures and loan documents.
  • Emphasize the benefits of Pennymac's offers and advantages to highlight how they meet customers' needs.
  • Manage pipeline activities while meeting production goals, compliance requirements, and company guidelines in adherence with lending regulations.
  • Provide a best-in-class experience to every caller, representing the organization's culture and values.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of origination and lending experience.
  • Current UST License.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and navigate different system applications and software.
  • Great sense of responsibility and organization.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Team player, works well with others, and willing to assist peers.
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and sound judgment skills.
