We are currently seeking a skilled professional with a background in Residential Construction Project Management, particularly in high-end residential settings, to oversee our extensive client portfolio. This role demands responsible management by an individual experienced in luxury residential construction.

The ideal candidate will serve as a Construction Project Manager or Service Manager, responsible for planning and supervising a variety of small to mid-sized residential construction projects from inception to completion. You will be tasked with organizing and overseeing construction processes, ensuring timely and efficient project delivery. A successful Construction Project Manager must possess a comprehensive understanding of construction methodologies and procedures, coordinating a diverse team of professionals to achieve optimal results. Strong analytical and organizational skills are essential, with the primary goal of delivering all projects on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to define project specifications.
  • Negotiate contracts with external vendors to secure beneficial agreements.
  • Acquire necessary permits and licenses from relevant authorities.
  • Assess required resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Plan all construction activities and schedule phases to meet deadlines.
  • Procure equipment and materials, monitoring inventory to address shortages promptly.
  • Recruit contractors and assign responsibilities effectively.
  • Oversee the work of laborers and tradespeople, providing guidance as necessary.
  • Monitor progress and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and address any issues that arise.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience as a construction project manager.
  • Thorough understanding of construction processes, materials, and project management principles.
  • Familiarity with quality standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Experience with construction/project management software; Procore knowledge is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • A collaborative team player with leadership capabilities.
