EquipmentShare is on the lookout for a Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join our corporate team. This role is pivotal in enhancing profitability through insightful data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the creation and execution of annual and quarterly financial forecasts, along with long-term projections and scenario evaluations.
  • Work closely with departmental leaders to pinpoint essential performance metrics and business drivers, ensuring ongoing reporting and oversight.
  • Deliver strategic insights and recommendations to executive management, assessing the impact of strategic initiatives and business prospects.
  • Employ advanced modeling methodologies to scrutinize diverse data sets and financial documents, transforming insights into actionable strategies, including process enhancements and best practices.
  • Compile and present periodic financial reports to key stakeholders, develop and sustain financial dashboards, and guarantee the precision and timeliness of financial reporting.
  • Establish best practices in financial planning and analysis, focusing on the continuous enhancement of FP&A processes and systems.

Qualifications
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States; we are not offering sponsorship at this time.
  • 5-10 years of experience or education in financial planning and analysis.
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience with SQL is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of financial data, including forecasting, reporting, and analysis, with a strong grasp of financial statements.
  • Ability to quickly derive key insights from data.
  • Proven capability to tackle complex issues with curiosity and analytical thinking.
