We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner - Financial Operations to join our team at Shelter Mutual Insurance Company. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for conveying a vision for the product and working with our product development team to bring that vision to life.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the product and its users, serving as the voice of the customer and ensuring the product meets their needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure the product is developed and delivered on time, within budget, and meets quality standards.
- Develop and maintain product documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and product roadmaps.
- Conduct product demos and training sessions to ensure stakeholders are informed and aligned with product developments.
- Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a related position.
- Certification for Product Ownership preferred but not required.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, technical knowledge of products, and knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), JIRA and Confluence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.
- Accurate and precise attention to detail.
