Job Overview

Salary: Negotiable

We are looking for a skilled Systems Engineer with an ACTIVE Full Scope Poly to become a part of our client's infrastructure support team. This role requires on-site presence in a help desk setting, and proficiency with NetApp technologies is crucial.

The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication abilities and be ready to engage in a shared on-call rotation as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver tier 2/3 technical assistance within a help desk environment.
  • Oversee and maintain NetApp storage systems and associated infrastructure.
  • Diagnose and resolve intricate system and network challenges.
  • Establish and uphold system security protocols.
  • Execute system upgrades and patches as required.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to address technical issues.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to guarantee 24/7 system functionality.
  • Document technical procedures and sustain system records.
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of IT operations and workflows.
Qualifications:
  • Possession of a Full Scope Poly is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer in comparable programs and contracts.
  • Proven experience in planning and directing Systems Engineering initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of NetApp storage systems and related technologies.
  • IAT II certification is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Familiarity with network protocols and infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • NetApp professional certifications.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
  • Understanding of ITIL practices.
